Congratulations to all our amazing volunteers and award winners who were celebrated at our Annual Dinner and Awards Night on Saturday, 11 May 2024. The event was a fun-filled evening where we celebrated our Palmy stars and recognised our dedicated members and volunteers for their contributions in making our club the best it can be.
Our MCs, Director Greg Cox and JAC Josh Sealey, did an excellent job guiding the guests through the night, ensuring that everyone had an amazing time.
There are many deserving members and volunteers who contribute to the success of our club this season. For the first time, dual winners of the President’s Award and jacket were announced to raptuous applause: husband and wife team Leesa Monaghan and Ben Tidey.
An emotional thank you was also made to Mary Farrell for all her years of service to Palm Beach SLSC and her seven years as President. Mary was celebrated and presented with a magnificent photo and frame, courtesy of club supporter Dan Mason at Currumbin Picture Framing. Mary received a very worthy standing ovation from all in attendance.
