Guests and Surf Club Members must strictly adhere to the following rules:
- Strictly no cigarettes, alcohol or other drugs to be on premises.
- At no time will drinking/drug use be tolerated – this will result in immediate suspension/termination of your membership, expulsion from Dorm rooms and forfeiting of Bond.
- No smoking in any of the buildings.
- Any graffiti incurs penalty of forfeiting of Bond.
- Fire extinguishers to be used only for fires. Unnecessary use will incur fee deducted from the Bond.
- If Surf Club management is called out after hours for the fire or security alarm being set off as a result of guest activity, a call out fee will be deducted from the Bond.
- In the event of any damage to any area, walls, carpets, doors, fixtures, fitting or furniture, the cost of repair or replacement will be met by thatperson/or club responsible for the damage.
- Persons must respect equipment at all times. Any person undertaking destructive activities will be responsible for replacing and repairing damages.
- The Surf Club reserves the right of entry, by authorised personnel for inspection and repair.
- Kitchen – dishes are required to be washed, wiped and put away. Please dispose of any leftover items on departure, including items kept in the fridge.
- All garbage is to be placed in plastic garbage bags and placed in the industrial bin next to the loading dock downstairs.
- Where linen is provided, please place used linen in bags and leave at bottom of Dormitory stairs inside glass doors on departure for collection.
- All noise must cease by 11.00pm and lights out 12.00pm
- The use of amplified music and loud speakers – can only be used with prior arrangement and permission by management and must cease by 11.00pm.
- Persons are to ensure on arrival awareness of all safety and fire exits, equipment and procedures.
- The dorms are allowed to have 26 people staying at one time under the Fire Safety Management Plan and the Fire Rescue Service.
- Anti-Social behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. This includes threatening or demeaning any person or any staff member. Damage to any property, graffiti, theft of any property, physical or sexual harassment, loud and rowdy noise can result in police intervention and eviction.
- People working with/responsible for persons Under 18 (and adults if applicable) must model appropriate behavior and not engage in, or allow others to engage in, any of the following:
- Abusive initiation ceremonies
- Invading the privacy of persons when showering, toileting, undressing/dressing.
