Ecosystem Hero Seagrass Workshop

As part of our commitment to ocean sustainability and marine education, in March we have partnered with WATERGUM – community for environment and are celebrating the Sea Turtle who are hosting a Ecosystem Seagrass Workshop for the kids.
Watergum will be introducing Kids (8yrs+) to the underwater world of Seagrass (turtle food) and all its creatures!
Seagrass is a vital food source for various marine species (like the turtle!) besides being a home for numerous organisms. During this workshop kids will focus on identifying the different types of seagrass and the animals found within this environment.
This workshop is hands-on and kids need to wear sun smart clothing. Parents are invited to stay and enjoy breakfast (at own cost), while kids participate in the free educational activity.
