Over the past eight months, Palm Beach Surf Club has created a swell of positive changes and new developments to hit our shore line.
Working with passionate local companies, the Club has invested over $100,000 in improvements and renovations across the Club.
The first of the most noticeable changes is the replacement of our ocean facing windows and doors with floor to ceiling glass to maximise a stunning view. The second is the opening of a new popular beachfront coffee nook, appropriately named ‘Jeffersons’, and brewing up consistently top notch coffees.
Add a kitchen upgrade, new furniture, delicious new menus and recently being awarded an ‘Ocean Friendly’ accreditation by the Surfrider Foundation this quaint Club is making big waves!
The Club, entering our 90th year of Surf Lifesaving, has seen a significant rise in popularity and visitor attendance leading to a 20% increase in visitation since last year.
Executive Manager of the Supporters Club, Daragh Murphy said “With our primary attraction being the ocean and view of migrating whales, it makes sense for us to care for our own backyard and ensure all visitors can enjoy the outlook. This is just one of the many projects we are working on to ensure we offer the best possible experience to our members and visitors alike.”
The Club was also recently voted as ‘Best Surf Club on the Gold Coast’. A great achievement which the Club holds with great respect and enthusiasm, proving not only do they have one of the best locations on the Gold Coast, but their members and visitors vote their service and quality of food as top notch too!
Moving into November and December the Club is revamping their breakfast , lunch and dinner menus and running another massive promotion just before the silly season.
With the opening of new developments in the Palm Beach suburb, there is a ripple effect on surrounding businesses and service Clubs. The future for Palm Beach Surf Club is sure to positively surge ahead in the next 12 months.
