Our Coaching program has been developing over the last few seasons and we are proud of what we can now offer our members. We believe that all our members have equal rights to access training, from novice to the more serious competitors. Coach <\/strong>Lou\u2013 \u00a0WATER SESSIONS\ud83c\udf0a Competent & Capable \u2013 \u00a0U12* to Masters<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n These sessions are for members U12* through to Masters who are capable & competent in the water and already on a fibreglass board. Sessions are focused on those wanting to further develop their skills for competition & lifesaving. These sessions are structured & focused on the athlete\/lifesaver and their goals for the season. It is recommended to be doing additional swim squad to be competent in the ocean, we also offer swim sessions twice a week at the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre.\u00a0*U11s are invited based on level of competency.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MUST WEAR NIPPER CAP & PINK RASHIE<\/em><\/strong>\ud83e\ude77 AT EVERY WATER SESSION<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Coach Lou<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 DEVELOPMENT WATER SESSION \ud83c\udf0a Beginner level \u2013\u00a0U8* to U14<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n These sessions are to develop our members from U9 to master\u2019s to build on surf awareness, confidence, and competence in the water. \u00a0 Aim is to learn how to read and ride the waves confidently for all disciplines of wade\/swim\/board.\u00a0 *Our mighty little U8 competitors will be allowed to join these sessions as directed by Surf Life Saving QLD from January onwards – must have U9 pool evaluation.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MUST WEAR NIPPER CAP & PINK RASHIE<\/em><\/strong>\ud83e\ude77 AT EVERY WATER SESSION<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Coach Paul\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 BEACH SESSIONS \ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f Beginner to advanced \u2013\u00a0U8 to Masters<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n These sessions are to develop and enhance the skills of those wishing to participate and compete in Beach Events U8 to Master\u2019s learning the art of starts and finishes for flags, sprints & relays with a strong focus on correct technique for running that can be applied to all disciplines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our Coaching program has been developing over the last few seasons and we are proud of what we can now offer our members.
